What the writers actually argued

togame’s reasons: Hunter is safe at range, Warlock has damage-over-time and a pet, Warrior has health and cleave, Mage clears waves, Paladin is the steadiest first clear. Shaman is their C tier. wowsurvivors moves Shaman up to A and Paladin up to S, and labels the page editorial. The app’s five-axis page gives Shaman a 5 on wave clear and a 1 on control, which is why that class swings the hardest between lists.

Shared ground: Hunter is strong on every list, and Paladin is the class people hand to a new player. There is no full race-plus-class matrix in these sources, so this page does not rank race combinations.

What I checked

I copied the three lists into one table and stopped. A single “best class” headline would have required me to throw out two of the three sources. Build pages link here for the letters and keep the talent routes over there.

What is the best class?

The three public lists do not agree. Hunter is S on two of them. Paladin is the app’s recommended start and wowsurvivors’ other S pick.

Are these win rates?

No. wowsurvivors and the app both say the scores are editorial.

Why is Shaman everywhere?

togame says C, wowsurvivors says A, and the app scores wave clear 5 and control 1.
