Which game do you mean?
Five names, five games
- Azeroth SurvivorsFree browser game by Aethus. WebGPU. Nine classes, eight races. No install required for the browser build.
- Warcraft Survivors (GitHub)AdamMcWilliam’s offline 1.12.1 roguelite. Nine classes, ten battlegrounds, 15-minute runs. You bring the client.
- WC3 map (2023)IzPaladin, Hive, 26 July 2023. 10-player co-op, 27.38 MB, 495 downloads when checked.
- Tower SurvivorsNethalythic roguelike TD. v1.92, 8 players, 90 weapons, 14,111 Hive downloads.

Warcraft III version, file size and download figures above are Hive-only snapshots, rechecked 28 October 2026. They are not independently confirmed by a second source.
Also: the Forsaken Kingdom hidden minigame is a 30-minute challenge inside Blizzard’s Warcraft III DLC, not a separate download.
How the name split
On 26 July 2023, Hive Workshop listed IzPaladin’s Warcraft Survivors, a 10-player Warcraft III co-op map (Hive thread 350175). On 13 April 2024 the same workshop listed Nethalythic’s Tower Survivors, a roguelike tower-defense map. Blizzard’s Forsaken Kingdom DLC for Warcraft III Reforged, dated in the 12 September 2026 press kit, later hid a Vampire Survivors-style challenge inside Act 2.
GitHub user AdamMcWilliam published warcraft-survivors on 3 October 2026: an offline 1.12.1 roguelite with nine classes and ten battlegrounds. OutThisLife’s azeroth-survivors-re appeared on 13 October 2026. By 26 October 2026 a NetEase article said Azeroth Survivors had been out for less than three weeks. That “less than three weeks” line is a media claim, not an official launch date.
Latest Azeroth Survivors notes
- 28 October 2026 — v0.120.5, co-op relay errors (azerothsurvivors.app patch notes).
- 27 October 2026 — v0.120.0, permanent race unlocks (same patch-note log).
- 23 October 2026 — v0.113.0 added five-player co-op; v0.112.5 restored Windows addons.
These dates come from one community patch-note compilation. Another guide still lists v0.120.4; neither establishes the version inside the Windows archive. Full update log and sources

What I checked
I opened wow.aethus.pl, the Hive threads, both GitHub repositories, and the CurseForge addon page on 27–28 October 2026 and lined the titles up. The browser canvas says Azeroth Survivors. The Hive map from 2023 says Warcraft Survivors. The addon says WoW Survivors. Treating them as one download is how people land on the wrong file.

Is Warcraft Survivors a Blizzard game?
I did not find a Blizzard product under that name. Azeroth Survivors is made by Aethus. Warcraft III maps are community maps. The CurseForge addon is a player addon for retail WoW.
Which one can I play in a browser?
Azeroth Survivors, at wow.aethus.pl, runs in a desktop browser with WebGPU. The author does not allow other sites to embed it. The GitHub project and the Warcraft III maps need a local client.
Is Azeroth Survivors free?
The official page and the GitHub README present it as free. The Windows package is a .rar from the author. This site does not host that file.
Why do Google and autocomplete disagree?
Our keyword notes from 27 October 2026 show the search results leaning toward Azeroth Survivors, while autocomplete still surfaces Warcraft 3 Tower Survivors. The 28-day volume on Tower Survivors was already under 50.
Are there more projects with this name?
Yes. CurseForge also lists Survivors: Azeroth, a different addon, and play.azerothsurvivors.org is Aevoria Survivors, a separate game. See the WoW Survivors page.
