Evidence scope
The exact talent percentages, gear values and five-axis scores below are attributed to azerothsurvivors.app alone. They are single-source figures, not independently confirmed live-game measurements. The second written guide and the linked video support only the routes explicitly attributed to them. Checked 28 October 2026.
Main route
Ignite adds 80% of a Fire critical as damage over 4 seconds. Hot Streak turns every fourth Fire critical into a free Pyroblast, at most twice a second. Pyroclasm opens on Pyroblast and makes a Fire kill explode for 6 yards, at most three times a second.
Pyroclasm wants packs. On a single boss the chain has less to chew on. That limit is in the research notes, not a personal clear time.
Scores and gear
togame ranks Mage A for screen clear. The survival score of 2 is the counterweight. Letters are on the tier-list page.
Index examples: Frostfire Robes (+77 HP, +6% damage reduction, −4% cooldown, 4% double) and Frostfire Bindings (−8% cooldown, +7% damage, +4% move speed).
The other route
Arcane uses Arcane Missiles, Arcane Explosion, and Ice Barrier. wowsurvivors records a 41 Arcane / 10 Frost case. A second video, iX4wBxCaiBk (21 October 2026), is the Arcane camera.
What I checked
I labeled the embedded video as Fire. The Arcane point split stays in the last section so a viewer does not treat Flamestrike footage as proof of the missile build.

FAQ
What does Mage start with?
The Fire route starts with Fireball. Editorial scores are 5/4/2/2/2: wave clear 5/5, survival 2/5. Arcane is a separate route and should not be folded into these talents.
Are the scores win rates?
No. The five numbers are editorial scores from azerothsurvivors.app on 23 October 2026.
Will this match today’s patch?
The patch log read v0.120.5 on 28 October 2026. Talent text can move. Recheck the build index before you copy a point split.
