Sources and how we verify
Primary pages
Azeroth Survivors: wow.aethus.pl and the GitHub tree OutThisLife/azeroth-survivors-re. Patch chronology used on the update page is the compilation at azerothsurvivors.app/patch-notes/, which we label as a compilation of the author’s channel, not a file we downloaded from Blizzard. Windows file size is from the official archive’s response headers on 28 October 2026: 754,921,096 bytes, Last-Modified 19 October 2026.
Warcraft III: Hive threads 350175 and 353429, Blizzard’s Forsaken Kingdom news post, plus Cybersport, Barrens Chat, and the three YouTube chapters named on the minigame page. GitHub: AdamMcWilliam/warcraft-survivors and jonhaldors/hordes-of-azeroth. Addons: the two CurseForge pages named on the WoW Survivors article.
Original diagrams and media
The four guide diagrams are original text-and-shape SVG illustrations of game identification, platform choice, build reading and save backup. They are not gameplay screenshots. We do not reproduce the repository screenshots containing Blizzard artwork. The hero artwork is an original illustration; linked YouTube footage loads only after a click.
What I checked
I kept a research log in the site docs and then re-checked the sentences that became pages. Where the log had a single video for Steam Deck, the download page says so and there is no separate Deck guide pretending we had a second test.
