Evidence scope
The exact talent percentages, gear values and five-axis scores below are attributed to azerothsurvivors.app alone. They are single-source figures, not independently confirmed live-game measurements. The second written guide and the linked video support only the routes explicitly attributed to them. Checked 28 October 2026.
Main route
Piercing Shots lets Auto Shot pierce one extra target at 80% effect. Rapid Fire turns every sixth shot into a free Aimed Shot. Kill Shot opens on Aimed Shot, cuts cooldown by 15%, and can reset on a kill at most once every 2 seconds.
That is the Marksmanship core from the build index. A player note about a lifesteal ring then a cooldown trinket is a case, and wowsurvivors says full best-in-slot is unknown, so I am not printing a gear shopping list as fact.
Scores and gear
The boss axis is why two tier lists put Hunter in S. The survival axis is why it is a bad “stand still” class on the same scorecard.
Index examples: Cryptstalker Breastplate (+58 HP, +6% damage reduction, +5% move speed, +2% crit), Cryptstalker Bracers (−8% cooldown, +10% area, +2% crit), Rhok’delar (+39% damage, +1 target). Drop rates were not checked.
The other route
Beast Mastery is the other route: a wolf and a raptor, with the pet’s bite triggering Multi-Shot. A second video from Sigmun (6-xKOTJ0FsA) is another camera on the class, not a second talent bible.
What I checked
I wrote the Aimed Shot chain as the page and left the pet build as a pointer. Putting both in one “best hunter” sentence would hide which buttons the video is actually pressing.

What does Hunter start with?
Marksmanship starts with Auto Shot. Editorial scores are 3/5/2/2/3, with boss pressure at 5/5 and survival at 2/5. Hunter is S on both the togame list and the wowsurvivors list.
Are the scores win rates?
No. The five numbers are editorial scores from azerothsurvivors.app on 23 October 2026.
Will this match today’s patch?
The patch log read v0.120.5 on 28 October 2026. Talent text can move. Recheck the build index before you copy a point split.
