Azeroth Survivors gear, stars and sets

Sources checked: 2026-10-29 · Star, set and Echo rules from the v0.125.0 patch log (2026-10-29). The log gives breakpoints, not stat tables.

Source scope · 核对范围 · 출처 범위 (2026-10-29): Exact patch dates, talent values, timers and scores attributed to azerothsurvivors.app are single-source community claims. v0.125.0 is the newest entry in that log; wowsurvivors.com independently showed v0.123.0 when checked on 29 October. These are not independently measured client or archive versions. Source policy.

The three systems in one table

These are the gear-facing changes the patch log names. “Logged” means the row is written in the compilation that cites Aethus’s channel; “not published” means the log is silent, so this page does not fill the gap.

Stars and the Heroic gate

The useful reading is that stars are both a power signal and a key. If Heroic II needs two stars, then a full eight-piece set is not automatically ready: the star total is the number that matters. The log does not print a star cap per slot or a stat curve, so a “best in slot” list would be fiction at this point.

Because the gate is written as Heroic N at N stars, the five Heroic steps and the five star levels line up numerically. That is the log’s wording, not an official table. The Heroic page keeps the five steps and what changes in each.

Set bonuses at four and eight

Four-piece and eight-piece are the only breakpoints named. A four-piece bonus is reachable early; the eight-piece row is the one that competes with mixing two strong items from different sets. The log says an eight-piece set can be pushed to five stars, which reads as an incentive to stay in one set rather than mix.

Class pages on this site still print single-item examples (Plagueheart Robes, Robes of Faith, Sulfuras) from the pre-Heroic build index. Those rows are item names and stats, not set membership. I have not invented a set name for any class.

Co-op: who gets the drop

Co-op does not share gear. When a boss dies, each hero rolls for their own class, including a downed hero. That rule predates Heroic and the log does not change it. A party can therefore cover more slots per run, but no source says drop rates scale with party size.

Lobby capacity is 2–5 since v0.125.0, host included. If you are farming a specific slot, the bottleneck is the roll, not the number of players.

What changed in the latest build

v0.125.0 on 29 October 2026 cut Legendary armor Echo to 2.1% and moved the shared-experience falloff from 0.48 to 0.312. Echo is the only gear stat named in that build. The rest of the 29 October notes are co-op and lobby changes, which are on the co-op page.

What I checked

I read the 0.123 entry three times because “stars” and “Heroic” are described in the same sentence. What I will not do is turn that into a stat table: the log gives breakpoints and a gate, not numbers per star. The class gear rows on this site stay as single-item examples until a source prints set membership.

FAQ

How do armor stars work?

The v0.123.0 log adds a star rating to armor and says an eight-piece set can reach five stars. It does not publish the stat gain per star.

What are the set bonuses?

Bonuses at four pieces and eight pieces. The log names the breakpoints, not the effect values.

Does Heroic unlock with stars?

The log says Heroic N unlocks at N stars. Whether that is per hero or account-wide is not stated.

Do party members share gear?

No. Each hero rolls for their own class when a boss dies, including a downed hero.

Did 0.125 change gear?

Yes, one line: Legendary armor Echo went from 4.2% to 2.1%. Shared XP falloff also moved to 0.312.
