Browser versus Windows

togame.io and the save-transfer page agree: the browser build does not upload your character. Clear site data, switch browsers, or use a private window and the character is gone. The Windows build keeps its own files. A Reddit comment archived via PullPush names a desktop path under AppData\Roaming\wenilla-rogue. That path is one comment, so treat the folder name as a single-source report.

Korean coverage on Inven (21 October 2026) also describes exporting and importing a .sav, which matches the Options menu path rather than a cloud slot.

Editors

yssadora.github.io/azeroth-survivors-editor is a community tool, version 1.5.3 when checked, listing 9 classes, 498 gear entries, and 12 zones. It is not written by Aethus. The same page notes a Firefox save fallback. Editing a file can desync talents from the live patch. I am not linking a “full unlock” download and I am not hosting edited saves.

If an editor offers every talent at once, that is a local rewrite. The next patch can reject the file. Export a clean copy first and keep that file outside the editor.

What I checked

I compared the in-game export steps on the save-transfer page with the editor’s own zone count. Both said 12 live zones on 27 October 2026. I did not run an edited file, and I am not going to tell you a rewritten save will load after v0.120.5.

FAQ

Where is the export button?

Options → Saves → Export/Import, according to azerothsurvivors.app’s save-transfer page (checked 27 October 2026).

Does import merge?

The same page says import replaces the current save. It does not promise to keep an in-progress run.

Is the save editor official?

No. It is a community page. Use it only on a copy.

Why did my character vanish?

Browser storage is per profile. A new browser is a new save.
